Artist Bio: I am a proud Gamilaroi woman I was born in Finley in NSW.
My great grandmother Eliza McGowan was born in Mungindi in Queensland, my mother was born in Griffith NSW. I am a descendant of the Wetherall Evans, Bourke, McGowan, families.
I am a multitalented artist and I started painting in my early teens.
I enjoy working on Collaborative pieces.
I have great knowledge about Aboriginal culture and practices and my paintings reflect upon the stories that have been told to me as a child by my grandmother, my mother and my aunties. These are the stories of my ancestors, sacred motherlands, and journeys of my people and my family.
I use a variety of different mediums. The detail in my work reflects my commitment to my style. My diversity is shown in many works that I have produced and I find that the land and all its elements influence me.
