This artworkis one of my greate grandmothers bush tucker stories that she told me. Nan said that our connections to country is in our exhistence as First Nation people, and we are forever Ngmi over by our ancestors in our dream time. My nan loved bush tucker and every bush tucker plant had a story. Murrnong (Yamm Daisy) was a much-loved vegetable for my grandmother, nan said when cooked in the camp fire it tasted like roast potato. The art shows the beautiful Murrnong dancing with the wind. The art style shows my song lines with dots and wavy lines, the colours are those of nature the beautiful green stems, dancing blooms and the blue sky as they meet each other. Our wandabbaas and culture is embedded in the land, it is who we are. Ngmi (Watched) Gali (water) Wandabaa (spirit) Thawun (Earst)
